Let it be something with do with ice, ocean or just some water.

My favourite part is about it is when you dive down under water and then make sure you face the layer thats in between the water and the air and look up you see something you don't always see. Its so nice, you get to see the sun rays shining through. The waves and the silence always nice.

What are yours?

I love ocean waves on crystal shores, and blankets of snow. Does ice cream apply?

It does make sense for ice cream to be a mercury thing.

Mercury is also one of the only elements that can adapt with the other ones.
Wind creates waves. And jupiter clan needs water to create clouds and a thunder storm
Water helps plants to grow something that is important to them
Fire evaporates water and melts ice. Water also takes out a fire.

How about how water is a fundamental necessity of life on Earth?

Storms ranging from rain clouds to hurricanes.  I suppose a beach would count as another choice.

Now that I think about it water is nessecary for all the other elements other than fire. There might be some complicated way to link t but I don't think that should be a thing.

Also the only thing that fire does it destroy only destroy. We are the givers of life.~

I like drinking water, does that count? (though I have a terrible fear of drowning)

It makes water change form, though.

... Also, fire and water both have "plasma" forms; one is an actual separate state of matter, the other is the blood component through which everything is transported through the circulatory system.

*coughs*

I suppose the fact that water is a balanced element is what attracts me most. Calm, ferocious; healing, destroying; hot, cold; etc.

Fire destroys to create. We use fire/heat to create metals, plastics and many other things.

Water is needed for us to survive sure, but fire is what we need to evolve!

Short-term destruction in favour of long-term creation. Fires in the wild contribute to life cycles as well, especially in grasslands and forests. For instance, wildfires break down natural litter into more basic components, releasing nutrients to the soil which stimulates further plant growth. Some plants also depend on the heat from these fires in order to release their seeds.

In a more general sense (no longer referring to fire in its 'pure' form of flames) without that big fiery ball in the sky - which can be attributed to the fire element moreso than to any other - providing energy for everything, life wouldn't exist on Earth. On a similar note, a popular guess among scientists is that heat released from molten magma contributed energy (along with lightning) for the creation of the first complex molecules on Earth, which are the precursors to life.

Seems like I've been discrediting fire a bit. It is like an unseen Lord that without there will be nothing.
